School Holiday Care (ages 5-13)

Our experienced staff know how to entertain children and understand the importance of safety and family values. We are the masters of School Holiday Programmes and we ensure the kids have fun in a safe and stimulating environment.

Junior Programme
Our Junior Programme is designed for ages 5 – 8 years. We encourage children to learn through play, friendships and opportunities.

Our Senior Programme is designed for ages 8 – 13 years. We provide a range of activities, excursions and interactions that will build confidence, encourage social skills and open their minds to a world of possibilities.

Subscribe below to receive information and reminders about our school holiday programmes. We will let you know when the upcoming holiday programmes are out and it is time for enrollments.

FULL DAY COST (7:30am – 6pm)

• $250 per week
• $50 per day ($4.75/hour)

SHORT DAY – SCHOOL DAY COST (8:30am – 3:30pm)

• $200 per week
• $40 per day ($5.70/hour)

Concessions are available if siblings also attend the school holiday program. Please inquire with the reception for more details.

We charge similar to a Daycare where you are billed for the days the children are enrolled regardless of attendance. This covers staffing, equipment, excursions and materials planned for that day. Children’s safety is paramount to us. We ensure adult: child ratio numbers are met at all times and organize activities to meet the demands of the age groups.

Important Bits:

• We are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, for the School Holiday Programme.
• Price includes transport, activities, materials, and most excursions.
• Any additional excursion costs must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable due to limited spaces.
• Children must provide their own food and drink bottles (make sure it’s enough for 10 hours).

If this is the first time your child has been enrolled with us, we require a $20 non refundable deposit to hold their space.

OSCAR Program:

Playtopia Educare OSCAR (Out of School Care & Recreation) has received accreditation from the Ministry of Social development (MSD).

WINZ Subsidies:

If you have 1 child and earn less than $1400 per week you may be entitled to subsidised childcare for your child. This can be up to the full cost of the programme. Ring Work & Income on 0800 559 009. For more information on subsidies Click Here.
